The resort started as a Thousand Trails Resort that had only three golf holes. Around 25 years ago, Outdoor Resorts of America (ORA) bought it and expanded the golf course to 14 holes while also increasing the number of sites to 592. ORA eventually handed over the project to the Rancho California RV Resort Owners Association (HOA) and its members. Presently, the HOA possesses the common areas of the project and operates the resort for its members.
As per the amended CC&Rs, only Class A Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels that are not toy-haulers, and Super C’s are permitted in the Resort. RVs must be between 30 ft. to 45 ft. All authorized recreational vehicles, regardless of age, must be well-maintained and in reasonable condition. RVs older than 10 years require an onsite inspection. The Board of Directors has the discretion to request owners to make necessary repairs to meet the standards of the Resort. Failure to comply may result in fines, suspension of privileges, and/or removal of the RV from the Resort. Unfortunately, the HOA does not offer golf cart rentals. However, your rental agent might be able to connect you with reliable sources that handle golf cart rentals.
YES! Las Palmas Mexican Bar & Grill is located on site. Hours vary, please call for hours (951) 231-8243. Market Place at The Ranch is a small grocery store on site. Owned and operated by the HOA, the Market Place carries a great variety of fresh produce, milk, wine and beer, and quick grab and go items.
No, we do not. There is a post office across the street, for General Delivery and mailing purposes. UPS and FedEx both deliver to your site.
You are allowed a maximum of two pets. All pets must be on a leash when outside, no exceptions. Please pick up after your pets, and be respectful of other people’s sites when you take them out for a walk. We have a spacious dog park available to Owners and Guests located near the resort entrance.
50-100 amp electric, sewer, and water. We offer curbside trash pickup daily. Wi-Fi is available at the clubhouses and The MarketPlace. Internet is available through a third-party vendor.
Guests have the flexibility to choose between a single overnight stay or a longer visit. As an Extended Stay Resort, it's important to note that each lot must be vacant for a total of 90 days within the calendar year. During this time, the RV can remain on the lot, but it cannot be used. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this regulation.
